Vision:

We want the Acts Kids ministry to be a place where your children develop meaningful, life-long relationships with God. We aim to foster a love for learning about who God is and how much he loves them. Our goal is to create a community within Acts that your children are excited about, a place where they want to be and want to learn and grow in their relationship with Christ. We want to establish a biblical truth that helps guide them as they grow from our kids’ ministry to our youth ministry and the world.

Mission:

- Bring children to know and love Jesus

- Teach children to be disciples in the world

- Encourage parents in the discipleship of their family

- Connect families to community

- Promote and model unity in the body

What will my child learn at Acts Kids?

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! At Acts Kids, we aim to engage kids in developing a love for God’s Word by bringing the Bible’s stories to life through creative activities and discussions. We are confident they will have fun each week as they learn about who God is through age-appropriate lessons, games, and activities!

Will my child make friends at Acts Kids?

Absolutely! We purposefully design our classrooms and lessons to help your child learn and grow with other kids in the same age group, from birth through 5th grade.

What does Acts Kids do to provide my children with a safe and secure environment?

Safety is a top priority at Acts Kids!

  • Each week, kids are checked in securely through a system that matches parents with kids for identification and pick-up purposes after the service.

  • Every volunteer teacher is screened, background-checked, and trained by our staff.

  • During the service, hallways are monitored by our background-checked Safety Team members.

What do I do if my child visits Acts Kids for the first time?

Look for the Acts Kids check-in booth in the foyer. A volunteer will meet you there to welcome you and your family. To check your child in for the first time, we will need to collect some basic information electronically. Once complete, two stickers will be printed – one for the child and one for the parent or guardian. Then, a volunteer will walk you to your child’s classroom and answer any questions you may have. After the service, you will use the identification sticker printed to pick up your child, so please keep it available.

We are eager to meet and invest in your children at Acts Kids!
